Waves crashed along the pier I can see the streaks of lightning flashing through the clouds. I stand motionless; I take a step forward without looking, big mistake. I fall into the water I crash hard against the surface; the impact makes me gasp for breath. I can’t see everything is blurred, I’m struggling to breath. I feel like my lungs are being squeezed tight. I gasp desperately, I need air. I’m getting sucked down deeper into the ocean. A hand shoots through the water pulling me towards the surface. I gasp, cough and splutter desperate for air. I look over to see who my saviour is.
